Month on month many thousands of new people flock to direct sales companies so that they can earn extra money. This seems to be especially appealing to women. Some of the more salient ones are that there is no longer a boss, the alarm clock does not dictate when one needs to get out of bed. There is no more commuting to work and back. Stay at home mothers are able to work at home and be with their kids. Guidelines are available to assist with success, failing to follow these could mean failing in the opportunity.

The first key to success is to set apart an office area where you are accessible to your kids, but where they know they are not allowed to disturb you, unless there is an emergency. You have to be disciplined about work time and home time and schedule your time wisely. By making lists of things that need to be done, you will not waste time and forget important tasks.

In conclusion, in direct sales, rejection is the name of the game. It is important for the seller to understand that not all people need or want what is being sold. This should not become personal. Clients who buy should be pressed for referrals. The sales person should write his or her goals on paper and then attempt to achieve these goals step by step.

If you’re a direct sales professional one of the things that can drive you crazy is trying to figure out how to create leads or prospects to talk too once you have gone through your friends and family. I know this can be overwhelming when your day is full of things that you must do to keep your business and life on track.

Well hold on. Direct sales marketing is simple when you know what to do. You don’t have to worry about it anymore. I am about to reveal the secret that will solve this problem once and for all. The key is to build your own email newsletter. The newsletter becomes your prospect funnel. When you do this you set yourself up to be able to market to people anytime you want. A prospect must hear from you 5 to 7 times before they begin to remember and trust you or your marketing message. When you have an email newsletter you get to control the message you send out to your prospects every time you talk to them.

The cool thing is that you can deliver your newsletter via a service called an autoresponder.  Once you learn to collect email addresses the autoresponder will allow you to upload your information into a database and deliver your newsletteri over a specified period time. You can automate it by dripping them out over time or you can broadcast it to go out immediately. The service I use is Aweber. I like this service because they have a live customer service department so you can get help when setting it up.

And finally your newsletter is attached to a squeeze page or landing page. This is a mini website whose sole purpose is to force people to take action and give you their name and email address. Within the squeeze you offer what is called an ethical bribe. An ethical bribe is where you offer customer something of value in exchange for their information.  An example of an ethical bribe is an audio interview, e-course or free report that you create.

So I want you to take deep breath.
